Historic Butler-Wallin House
Salt Lake City, Utah
Since its construction in 1928, the historic Butler-Wallin House has been a picturesque landmark in the Salt Lake Valley. It was originally built in a farming community on the outskirts of Salt Lake City. Now, it sits almost in the middle of the metropolitan area of Salt Lake County. For many years, the house has benefited from the loving care of its numerous owners.
In December of 2002, the Butler House acquired a new owner, ManageMen, Inc. We wanted to find a corporate headquarters to showcase the importance of cleaning and maintenance to a facilities life-cycle. When the Butler House came on the market we decided to purchase the property and preserve the building and grounds for the next generation.
Invariably, when a resident of Butler House describes the location to a resident of Salt Lake County, they elicit the same response. “I know that house. I drive by it all the time. I’ve always loved that house. May I come by and see the inside?”
