George Dansie

George began his career at KSL TV in 1985 and was there for 13 years until November of 1998. While there, he designed many award winning pieces both in print and video. A few of them are: 1986 – Outdoors with Doug Miller, 1994 – Utah Business Show, 1994 – Sportsbeat Sunday, 1996 – KSL Weather with Mark Ubank, 1997 – Outdoor Expo, 1997 – Holocaust, Utah Remembers (award winning documentary) 1998 – Quake Zone Documentary (received Telly Award for best Graphics), Once upon a Dinosaur (award winning Documentary) 1998 – KSL TV News Set, the 1986, 1988, 1992 & 1996 Election Coverage, Shop Talk, Take 5 For Kids, and Show Me the Title, to name just a few.

Other awards include; 1992 Distinguished Service Award, KSL TV, The Bronze Plaque for Wing and a Prayer, Telly Awards in 1995, 1997 & 1999, 2002 Addy Award, and 3 Telly awards in 2003.

He is currently the vice president of Marketing By Design, Inc. Marketing By Design is an elite marketing and design company specializing in marketing, public relations, and advertising. The Marketing By Design philosophy is that creative design and appropriate marketing base on information will build business.

He started Marketing By Design, Inc. in 1995 with core values based on hard work, attention to detail and customer satisfaction. These core values have lead to many business opportunities in several markets. Including Health and Wellness, Small Business, Outdoors and the Cleaning Industry.


Jeffery Campbell, PhD

Dr. Jeffery L. Campbell is chair of Brigham Young University’s highly respected Facility and Property Management program.  With more than 30 years of facility and construction experience, Dr. Campbell is a leading scholar in the profession.

Known for his quality research, books and articles, Dr. Campbell has received prestigious awards for his outstanding work.  He has consulted with, and provided research and writing services for numerous FM businesses and associations, including the U.S. government.

Dr. Campbell is a dynamic teacher and frequent presenter at conferences.  He has trained facility managers from many top organizations.  His classes are engaging, packed with practical information, and always receive high evaluations.

 


Tim Poskin

Tim specializes in (OS1) work-loading, start-ups and (OS1) Carpet Care systems. He presented the preview of the (OS1) Carpet Care program to the 2004 (OS1) Users Symposium at the University of Massachusetts. Since then, Tim has been analyzing, measuring and helping to improve the (OS1) process of carpet maintenance.

Tim first worked with (OS1) program as an employee of The Boeing Company in Factory Services as Management Facilities Organization Advisor and as Administrator of contracted janitorial services for Boeing leased buildings in Puget Sound.

From 2003 to 2005, Tim was an integral part of the (OS1) implementation team for USSI, the preeminent 93 year-old building service contractor in Washington D.C., Maryland and Florida.

In 2002-2003, also worked on the Washington Ecology Remediation Project where he helped implement the (OS1) cleaning protocol developed for the project by ManageMen. At the time, Tim was Director of Operations for Fuzzy Wuzzy Rug Company, a Washington State carpet cleaning company.

Tim currently holds certifications in Carpet Cleaning (CCT), Water Remediation (WRT), Certified Mold Remediation (CMR), Advance Applied Structural Drying (ASD) and Certified Indoor Environmentalist (CIE). While at The Boeing Company, Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

He is also a graduate of Janitor University and is currently the acting liaison between Dri-Eaz and the (OS1) Users.


Charles Hollis, Sr.

Charles Hollis joins ManageMen as an (OS1) Trainer/Coach specializing in Boot Camps for new (OS1) start-ups as well as advising/consulting for established (OS1) organizations in there retuning efforts.

For 15 years, Charles managed 80-100 Janitorial Services cleaning employees at Sandia National Laboratories Facilities Department, Albuquerque, NM., a multi-program laboratory operated by Sandia Corporation, a Lockheed Martin company, for the US Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration. After seven years in this role, Sandia Janitorial Services embraced the ManageMen (OS1) Cleaning Methodology and Charles became a member of the Functional Management Team, with a primary function as the (OS1) Trainer for his cleaning organization. During his tenure as trainer he was a pioneer in the establishment of the (OS1) “Learn N Earn Certification Program” that was eventually adopted and renewed as part of the union contract by the Metal Trades and Aerospace Workers union of AFL-CIO.

Charles was a major force behind Sandia being recognized as a premier cleaning organization with Sandia receiving three Best Cleaning Program “Grammy” Awards in five years and three consecutive Green Certified Program Awards. A highlight of Charles’ training career occurred at the 2007 (OS1) Users Symposium Awards in Colonial Williamsburg when Sandia National Labs was recognized as the Best Cleaning Industry Training Program.

Charles is a graduate of Janitor University and his current certifications include (OS1) Expert Trainer and (OS1) Certified Coach.


Jim Ginnaty

Jim is the ES Operations Coordinator for SEARHC. He implemented the first (OS1) Cleaning Program in Alaska at the Alicia Robert Medical Center in the remote community of Klawock. Since implementation, the medical center’s housekeeping department achieved an 85% (OS1) audit average, (OS1) Environmental Program Award, (OS1) Green Certifications, substantial compliance with accolades from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, recognition from the Assistant Surgeon General as one of the cleanest facilities visited and the bench mark for all SEARHC facilities. Currently he working on (OS1) implementation of 19 facilities in three and he is also involved in the first pilot project at a major hospital in the country located in Sitka, Alaska. Jim’s work in Southeast Alaska has gained interest in (OS1) from various agencies, and local, state, tribal and federal governments.

Jim has developed and instructed training workshops on various water and wastewater subjects for the University of Alaska Southeast. Provided training workshops and technical assistance for water and wastewater operators of organizations such as the US Forest Service, Ketchikan Pulp Company, Kennecott Greens Creek Mining Company, Viking Lumber, City of Coffman Cove and Clover Pass Community Church. Conducted sanitation surveys of water and wastewater systems for the State of Alaska.


Joe Jimenez

Joe Jimenez is President and owner of Jimenez & Associates. More than 25 years of experience as a strategic communicator.He has significant high-level experience resolving reputation issues with private and public sector clients.He has specialized communication training and experience for health and environmental issues. He is accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America.

Jimenez & Associates is a management consultant company in Seattle specializing in high-profile reputation management with contentious and sensitive issues. Since 1996, the company has represented biotechnology companies, government agencies, labor unions, and non-profit companies. Mr. Jimenez’s skill in reputation management and communication resolved a ten-year history of indoor air quality complaints in 2003 at the headquarters of the Washington state Department of Ecology. The results
restored employee trust in management actions, changed management’s understanding of staff health issues, and corrected serious deficiencies in the building’s environmental controls.


Kelly Atkinson

While in the Utah Legislature and working for USEA, the K-12 janitors association affiliated with the NEA union, Kelly sponsored legislation that led to grants to the Utah State Board of Education to establish a “Staffing Formula” and training programs for school janitors. This legislation was renewed and expanded for several years. ManageMen, Inc. And John Walker was the recipient of the grant to develop the staffing study and also received a succession of training development grants that extended over a several year period.The State of Utah staffing study was later used in the development of ISSA’s Cleaning Times project when John Walker served ISSA as Education and Training director.

Due to Kelly’s long association with ManageMen, staffing studies, training programs and his background with labor unions, Kelly works with ManageMen on increasing efficiency and productivity in various projects. Kelly adds a depth of knowledge that is valuable is assessing the scope of problems in the organizations we work with and helps provide specific remedies.


John Brenton

John Brenton, P.E., will work on this project to identify process engineering issues related to the housekeeping program. John played a pioneering role in developing the first engineered process in the cleaning industry. In 1988 John Brenton, P.E., of Mmantec and John Walker of ManageMen began working together to consciously create an engineered cleaning system based on process improvement. It was developed for and field tested at the Delta Airlines Reservations Center in Salt Lake City where Brenton was managing the contracted janitorial services. John Brenton, P.E., added engineering principles and simplification to custodial workloading studies and training programs developed by John Walker. This process was the forerunner to the later development of the (OS1) process in 1992.

Mr. Brenton is a multi-disciplined engineer, who has over 38 years of experience and has worked for and with several large and small corporations, in addition to owning several of his own companies. John has worked with many of them though out the entire country, his projects have ranged from medium sized Medical Research firms and laboratories to many of the large Fortune 500 companies office buildings and manufacturing plants, some of them are firms such as 3M, Honeywell, Control Data Corp. the Ford Motor Co. Northwest Energy, United Technologies and Delta Airlines, just to name a few.
