New Upgrades
New in the 2009 version of Expert Trainer at Walt Disney World:
All Team Cleaning Site Based Action Kits ’09 Upgrade
Light Duty Specialist, Vacuum Specialist, Restroom Specialist and Utility Specialist. We have new Scouting Reports, new video content, new graphics, new packaging and new collateral materials. All new scenes for microfiber, cord handling, storing back pack, clean-up, disinfectant applicator, etc.
This is the upgrade of the training kits you’ve been waiting to see.
New Verification of Training-Tom Shirley Control Products
A new training segment will be added to the Basic Training program. During the initial team transition program training materials will be introduced to provide that Tom Shirley products are used and understood. A new Verification of Training Exam and Documentation form will be introduced.
New Verification of Training-Proposed Ergonomic Standard
Another new training segment to be introduced in the Basic Training program is an introduction to the Ergonomic tools in (OS1). An all new training segment on cleaning work safety will supplement the existing “Beyond Compliance” hazcom and “Protect Yourself” blood borne pathogen training programs. The new program “Watch Your Back, etc.” will be introduced to provide workers information about ergonomic aspects of the (OS1) Cleaning process. A new Verification of Training Exam and Documentation form will be introduced for the “Watch Your Back.” program. This program completes the third leg of the original OSHA safety stool program.
New Basic Training Program and Calendar
How to plan the Basic Training Experience. This is an extension of the (OS1) Boot Camp. Materials to be discussed include Basic Training Planning Guide, Basic Training To-Do Checklist, How to provide time for new training outside the Boot Camp classroom. A complete step-by-step guide will be provided to direct your program.
New Basic Training Recognition
When workers complete the first phase of training for an (OS1) transition they will now receive a certificate of (OS1) Basic Training Completion. This program documents active participation in (OS1) Boot Camp and successful participation on an (OS1) transition team. Four the first time we will train teach (OS1) Trainers on four different Verification of Training safety modules. This includes new programs for the “Beyond Compliance”, “Protect Yourself”, “Watch Your Back” and “Control Chemicals-The Tom Shirley Way” (OS1) programs.
New How Adults Learn Activities
In this segment will re examine the fundamental training question “How do adults learn?” How do you involve strangers in a group training setting? What about resisters? How do you infect people with curiosity? How do you increase retention? These key issues of adult learning will be presented - the (OS1) approach.
All new 2 ½ minute talks and demos by the cleaning industry’s top trainers.
The best trainers in the cleaning industry will be in this class room. Watch them as the demonstrate their skills and tricks of the trade in both 2 ½ Minute Talks and Demos with “Picky Notes.”
Light Duty Specialist
This year we will be introducing an all new Tough Love Chemical Training segment. What are the steps to transferring information to the Light Duty Specialist.
Vacuum Specialist
In addition to dealing with the the tried and true (OS1) methods of Proper Vacuum Fitting this year we will add an all new segment on Why We Use the ProTeam Super Coach Vacuum.
Restroom Specialist
This year we will focus on Everything You Need to Know About Disinfectant, But You Have the Wrong Thing In Your Head. MRSA, SARS, Avian Flu, Peroxide, wonder disinfectants, steam cleaning and pandemic. Bring all your questions we will be showing you how to deal with it in the Boot Camp class.
Visually Instructive Workplace
We will be introducing the long-awaited visually instructive workplace program.
Extra Event for Everybody-Dinner and Fireworks Friday Night
Join the Expert Trainer group after the last class on Friday night. Dinner at the top of the California Grill and watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from an exclusive perch on the roof of the Contemporary Hotel. The perfect finish to a great training event.
Extra Event for John’s Trainers Tool Box Users-Upgrade Party Thursday Night
For those trainers who bring their John’s Training Tool Box there will be an after class upgrade party. Everyone will be able to upgrade to new John Walker developed and tested Boot Camp and Basic Training presentations.
Visually Instructive Workplace
We will be providing an introductory package of the long-awaited Visually Instructive Workplace program for each organization who has the tool kit.
Each John’s Trainers Tool Box users will receive an upgrade to the All-in-One DVD version of the new Team Cleaning Site Based Action Kits ’09 Upgrade.
Also, all the trainers in the program will receive new and improved versions of Keynote ’09, Pages ’09, Numbers ’09, iPhoto ’09, iMovie ’09, iDVD ’09, Address Book ’09, iCal ’09 and OSX Leopard operating system.
A special edition of the Janitor University Special Collections Library will also be provided. This will include a new and improved (OS1) Proof Book for Trainers. Also in the library will be and all new and revised Cleaning Industry Classics, John Walker Article Collection-1986-present and (OS1) User reprints.
