Introducing Updated, Official 540 Cleaning Times
Chicago, IL – ISSA has announced the arrival of the new Official ISSA 540 Cleaning Times (540 Cleaning Times). 540 Cleaning Times is the updated version of ISSA’s all-time best selling information resource, the Official ISSA 447 Cleaning Times. According to John Walker, industry educator and developer of the book, “this is the largest increase of a version of the cleaning times, ever.”
The information within Official ISSA 540 Cleaning Times is a result of a collaboration from the entire cleaning industry. Research was conducted based on suggestions from various resources such as government agencies, building service contractors, schools, universities, unions and non-profit organizations. 93 new cleaning times have been added as a result of this endeavor.
Additions to this edition are cleaning times for updated technology such as innovative cleaning devices, productivity machines, additional team cleaning workloading times, cleaning up equipment times, new healthcare and hospitality times.
In addition to the 93 new times, the overall format of the book was updated to be easier to use and to be more user-friendly. The table of contents was simplified to make referencing specific times easier.
540 Cleaning Times was unveiled at the annual ISSA/INTERCLEAN show in Chicago, which took place October 7-9, 2009.
