(OS1) Goes to Washington DC

During the week of December 14, 2009, members of the Simon Institute and ManageMen, Inc. gathered in Washington DC to expand research opportunities for the Simon Institute and to advance existing ManageMen projects with the federal government.

Throughout the course of the week the group met with four congressmen, one senator, Dept. of Homeland Security, Bureau of Indian Affairs, EPA and The Smithsonian. Several funding sources were located for Simon Institute research endeavors. Each office visited was very supportive of the mission and offered a helping hand.

A lot of doors were opened with some very unique research opportunities related to (OS1).
