  • Training & EducationThe time has come for cleaning to be a profession. The benefits of cleaning are universally recognized. “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”, most children learned at their mother’s knee. Cleaning is fundamental to many professions. Medicine, nursing, and dentistry all have their antecedents in developing a professional approach to to cleaning. Diverse professions like vehicle maintenance, emergency responders, childcare, entertainment and disaster response are all founded on cleaning. Yet, cleaning as a profession has never attained a place in the roster of occupations. Janitors have long resented the job title. Twenty-five years ago the (OS1) odyssey began to professionalize the occupation of cleaning. It’s a big job. Once begun, one can never shirk from the mission. It is imperative to avoid diversion and distraction with singleness of purpose. The emerging science of cleaning based on the engineered cleaning system, (OS1), is the sole focus of all our educational and training events.
